Cradled in the Idaho wilderness, the Horsethief property is a perfect place for groups of all sizes to gather.

We can accommodate many different types of groups for organized events, like business retreats, college student orientations, church group getaways, and peaceful and private gatherings. We offer team-building and recreational programs, conference rooms, audio/visual/technical support, and comfortable lodging to meet all of your needs. Our meeting rooms can accommodate anywhere from 15 to 600 people.

Conferences

We are confident that you will find our spacious lodge, beautiful accommodations, and multiple meeting spaces well equipped to meet the needs of your group. As your event participants work up an appetite traversing the grounds, our talented kitchen staff will provide snacks and delicious, well-earned meals.

Outdoor Education

The Y Outdoor Education program is an out-of-classroom experience that helps students connect with nature. Students learn about the environment and have an opportunity to test and apply science lessons. Outdoor Education curriculum meets and exceeds Next-Generation and Idaho Science Standards by helping students become excited through learning in nature. We tailor all curriculum and activities to fit your classroom’s needs and focuses.

Weddings & Events

The gorgeous grounds at the YMCA Camp at Horsethief Reservoir provide a diverse natural backdrop for your special day. Whether you choose to say your vows at the scenic Artist’s Point overlook, by the water with the sand between your toes, or in our rustic and cozy barn, Y Camp offers unique indoor and outdoor spaces to host your event.
